Christian Kramberg looks back on a long career in the academic field. He studied business administration at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Mannheim and graduated as a Diplom-Kaufmann (German MBA equivalent) in 1992. During his studies, Christian Kramberg already worked for the first company of his own. In cooperation with the University of Mannheim, he founded the alumni organization AbsolventUM e.V. in 1995 that today is among the biggest and most successful organizations of its kind in Germany. Apart from establishing a very successful Career Service, he was the initiator of the “Renaissance des Barockschlosses” (Renaissance of the baroque castle) campaign, one of the most successful fundraising campaigns of German universities.
In 1999, he was entrusted with the foundation of the University of Mannheim Service- and Marketing Company, and subsequently, as the company’s managing director, developed it to be a showcase enterprise of the German academic landscape. He, together with other German universities, founded alumni-clubs.net e.V. – the association for all alumni organizations in the German speaking area - already in May 2001. alumni-clubs.net e.V. has more than 230 member universities by today while Christian Kramberg continues to be its honorary chairman.
In February 2008, he started as managing director of MSW & Partner Personalberatung für Führungsnachwuchs GmbH.
