The foundation for the advancement of studies offers an innovative and unique combination of financial and substantive support. By our comprehensive guidance-program we assist future graduates with the successful completion of their studies and their subsequent career entry, ranging from soft skills trainings to assistance in organizing a study abroad to writing a successful job application.
Deutsche Bildung allows motivated students to pursue a target-oriented academic career. Independent of their current financial situation, for their studies are an investment in their own future.
In order to finance the foundation, Deutsche Bildung issues closed-end funds to the capital market, thus placing them with private and institutional investors. Our investors chose this type of investment for several reasons:
- good risk-return-profile
- real diversification
- inflation hedge
- socially valuable
The scholarship holders repay their grant after they successfully entered their career and depending on their income. The percentage is determined upon the inception of the treaty in anticipation of the future income and depending on the duration of the repayment.
Thus, Deutsche Bildung creates a new form of contract between students and investors. All of them pursue the same interest: the scholarship holders’ success.
The company has been established in June 2006 to the name of Deutsche Bildung. The compony manages two subsidiaries: as fund initiator and fundraiser, and responsible for marketing the foundation and for implementing the guidance-program.
